Residential
Amenities
Each
resident has a private apartment that opens onto neighborhoods with shared
living and activity areas. Our main living room includes a fireplace,
entertainment center, and comfortable furniture, as well as historical
photographs and art-work
by local artisans. Our town center has a computer room, a complete
beauty salon and a fitness center. Accessible laundry facilities are available
for residents. We have three outside courtyards that are outdoor extensions
of the indoor environment. Piped music follows you throughout the flowered
walkways and patios with comfortable teak seating throughout. Raised planting
beds are also provided for residents wishing to hone their gardening skills.
Dining at Honey Magnolia's
Heritage House has
structured its menu so that residents can choose from a number of entrees
at each meal. Breakfasts are made to order, special diets are pampered,
and we take pride in our seasonal fresh fruit preserves, and delicacies
from the local Farmers' Market. Our homemade apricot cobbler and oatmeal
cookies are McGeever family recipes. Snacks are offered throughout the
day to fit everyone's schedule. Good food is a big part of many family
gatherings. We have brought all our best recipes to Heritage House to
share with our residents. Families are welcome, and we can prepare special
meals and picnic lunches on request.
Activities
Heritage
House becomes an extended neighborhood for our residents. Neighbors are
able to share interests, past-times and laughter, with each other, and
with our staff. Residents' families are encouraged to come and share meals
and take part in activities and special events. 
Transportation
is provided for scheduled trips, shopping, banking, field trips and excursions.
Heritage House maintains an ongoing activity calendar with regular field
trips, exercise classes, arts and crafts, book clubs, movies and social
hours. We regularly adjust our program schedule to reflect the preferences
of our resident population. You tell us what you would like to see. It's
our job to provide the options.

Transportation Services
Transportation to medical appointments, local shopping and banking, Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon. Tuesday and Thursday afternoon field trips to local parks, walking areas or excursions. Transportation for acute medical issues as needed.
