Odin was born and raised in Mexico City. Has lived in Santa Barbara for almost thirty years with his wife and two children.

 

Odin enjoys spending time with his family and dogs. He also enjoys riding his bicycle through Santa Barbara. He has over twenty years experience working in the kitchen. Odin describes himself as hardworking, respectful and friendly. His children had the special role of being taste testers which assisted him in honing down his new recipes. They have a Maltese-Poodle, named Bella, and recently added two Mexican Hairless named Itzpa and Tlaloc to their family.

 

Cooking has become a significant aspect of Odin’s life. He previously worked at Lazy Acres for 25 years where he was the Kitchen Manager. He frequently caters special events such as weddings and quinceñeras. He was fortunate enough to cook for his niece’s wedding back in 2019 and his own daughter's quinceñera in 2012.

 

From family holiday dinners, to catering large events, or even the occasional experimentation with leftovers from the fridge, Odin is always searching for a new recipe that will bring others satisfaction. Odin’s family is what motivates him to strive to do his best and he feels he would not be where he is today without their support.
